Busy Busy Busy!!!!!

Okay so things have been hectic but good. Jamie Lankford and I finished the murals at Covenant Womens and Childrens Hospital. They are up on the site so check them out. This coming Thursday is the first of 2 VIP walk throughs that I will be attending. We have also been asked to come back and do an extension to the original stairwell adding 3 more floors. I will be starting that on the 27th. This coming week I will be back at Daves Need4Speed for a week, and then off and on as well beyond that. I am also still going to at some point hopefully still do a mural of angels in a dome. Finally I am promising myself and a friend to get back over to stat back up on a fairy mural at a friend’s house.

In other news the West Texas Comic Convention is almost here as it is may 2nd. Look for me there as well as on the 1st where I will be teaching mostly 4th to 6th graders as well as all ages at the Arts Festival. This all goes down at the Civic Center. Now in additional news the band Line and Circle released their album on the internet. This is the band that has my art for the cover. SO here is where you can download their album:

StrandedStudios.com Spring Forward

So as many of you know I have been doing murals at Covenant once more. The main branch walls are entirely finished and we are a week away from Lakeside being completed as well. Lakeside is set to have their grand opening on the 16th and advertisements started yesterday, so be on the lookout for those commercials. From here there is a lot to come. For starters May 1st I will be at the Lubbock Arts Festival teaching 4th-6th graders at the Lubbock Sketch Club booth. Then the next day (Saturday) I will have my own booth in the comic convention upstairs with a mini promo for my childrens’ book for purchase. I will be signing those, so get them while you can for they will be limited in print. As for other work, I will be hitting murals hard again as there are two private murals in which I am being asked to do. As if that wasn’t enough, DavesNeed4Speed has asked me to come back and paint for his expansion project that will double the size of what he has currently. This means a lot of work ahead. There are also 3 commercials featuring my work for them as well. As for StrandedStudios else where: L.A. Based band Line and Circle has begun using my work as the cover to the upcoming album. You can check out their sound on Myspace. I may also be guest speaking at Lubbock High School sometime soon as well. As for the children’s book I am hoping to have that released in time for the November convention, so keep posted. Last but not least, Brian Little of End of the World Comics eotwcomic.com has asked me to do a 10 comic story arc for him, which will also be coming soon. I am also furiously trying to find time to add more pages of past and current work to the website so check here for those adds.
